Northwich Victoria v Darlington Preview

Saturday’s game away to Warrington Town was postponed, with the game having now been rearranged for Tuesday 21st April, the final week of the season.
Ahead of the game manager Martin Gray said “"I was disappointed that Saturday's game was postponed, but it was no surprise really. The weather was bad, I was in Manchester on Saturday and there was heavy rain over there.
"We're going all out to win at Northwich, we're looking for revenge and to keep the pressure on the others at the top."
While our game was called off, Salford City were able to win, 3-1, away to Scarborough Athletic, extending their lead at the top of the league table to six points.
The postponement means Alan White’s suspension from the weekend is carried over and he will not be available at Northwich. However, apart from White and long term absentee Amar Purewal, Gray has a full squad to choose from ahead of the trip.
Northwich travelled to Heritage Park just over two weeks ago and came away with a 1-0 victory thanks to an early goal. They still have a chance of winning the league and the one automatic promotion place. They are just three points behind Darlington and nine behind Salford, but still with two games in hand on the Ammies.
They have had a very good season and have remained in the top three throughout, after finishing in mid-table last year.
