πŸ”₯ Match Preview

Darlo look to continue their winning form when they travel to Lincoln Road to take on Peterborough Sports.

The Quakers come into this game after back-to-back wins, with the most recent being a 3-0 win against Radcliffe on Tuesday night, thanks to goals from Jack Maskell, Will McGowan and Cedric Main.

On the road this season, Darlo have been a strong force with nine wins, and three draws in 19 games with 32 goals scored, and 28 conceded, which has gained them 30 points, which puts the Quakers 5th in the away form table.

Darlington’s opponents, Peterborough Sports, haven’t had the best season and currently sit 22nd in the league, but have found a bit of form recently.

Last time out for The Turbines was a 0-0 draw at home to Marine, but before that they were 2-0 winners away at Alfreton.

At Lincoln Road this season, Peterborough Sports have had a hard time with six wins and five draws in 20 games, with 21 goals scored and 32 conceded for a total of 23 points, which puts them 21st in the home form table.

The last time the two teams met was back in November, when Darlington won 5-2 with goals from Aidan Rutledge (2), Will McGowan, Toby Lees and Matty Cornish. The last time the teams met at Lincoln Road, The Turbines were 4-1 winners, with Darlington’s only scorer being Hazeem Bakre.

πŸ‘€ Player Spotlight

Max Booth has also been a threat off the right-hand side, getting most of his goals in the second half of the season, also scoring in that victory over Alfreton.
