Popular midfielder pledges to Quakers
Quakers are delighted to announce that midfielder Tom Platt has agreed a new one year contract with the club, subject to FA and National League approval.
Tom, 31, joined us two seasons ago from Boston, and has become a firm crowd favourite since then, making 68 appearances in the centre of midfield. He was injured for some of the season just finished, but he returned to the side near the end of the campaign.
Manager Steve Watson said; "Platty was the player of the 2023-24 season across the board, but unfortunately he missed a lot of last season.
"If we can get him back to where he was (and there's no reason why not) there aren't many better players at this level."
