For our first home game against Northampton on 16th August -- John Stalker scored the only goal of the game in front of 1,763.

We drew at Doncaster in midweek, and the home game against Stockport on 23rd August saw us draw 2-2, Ian Hamilton and John Walsh scoring.

A change in style for the front cover at home to Scunthorpe on 16th September, and we lost 1-0 in front of 2,823 fans.

The home game against Aldershot saw us lose 2-1, with Alan Walsh scoring.

The programme for the home game against Chesterfield in the League Cup first round on Tuesday August 12th. We had lost 1-0 in the first leg the previous Saturday at their place, and we lost 2-1 at home to them in the second leg.
