More from Karl Alexander's extensive collection
Darlington fan Karl Alexander has an extensive collection of Darlington programmes going back nearly 80 years.
Today, we look back at the 1950-51 season, when Quakers issued an unusually-sized programme -- a programme that opened up into three pages.
We started the 1950-51 season with a home game against Rochdale, and 10,530 fans inside Feethams.
Unfortunately, we lost 2-0, and on the following Monday evening, we played at Mansfield
we lost 2-1 at Field Mill, which was the same scoreline when we played Chester at Sealand Road on 25th August

So those were three successive defeats -- and on August 30th 1950 we suffered a fourth, by 2-0 at home to Mansfield, with just over 7,700 in the ground
