Pyrotechnics at Darlington FC matches

Contrary to ground regulations

In recent games against Chester and South Shields, pyrotechnics have been thrown as the teams have come out on to the field, and at half time against South Shields, another pyrotechnic was released in the clubhouse.

While investigations are continuing into these incidents, we must remind fans that these are dangerous and criminal acts, and are contrary to the league’s ground regulations relating to pyrotechnics which are published on our website. It is an offence to bring pyrotechnics to a football match.

These incidents do not reflect well on the club, and if reported by the match officials to the FA, could see us heavily fined.

If you see anybody holding or throwing pyrotechnics, then please e mail us in confidence on report@darlingtonfc.org
