Darlington FC Women are back in league action this Sunday as they host Birtley Town Ladies at Eastbourne Sports Complex.

This is the second time in just 4 weeks that the two sides meet, with Birtley coming out 3-1 winners in the away game on the 12th March.  The Quaker Women came from 2-0 down at the weekend to win 4-2 at Horden and Birtley were beaten by Consett 3-1 last Sunday.

Darlington still sit 5th in the league table with 20 points from 12 games. Whereas Birtley sit in 3rd place on 29 points with Darlington having 2 games in hand. Darlington will need the 3 points if they are to catch Birtley and finish as high as they can in the league standings come the end of the season.
