Quaker Women: Lily Large out for season
By Ray Simpson
Bad injury rules her out for possibly a year
We are sad to share the news that after having an MRI scan, it has been confirmed that defender Lily Large has torn her ACL in her knee.
Lily could be out of action for up to 12 months and will hopefully have surgery in the next few weeks. At only 17, Lily is still young and has every chance of getting back on that football pitch with the Quaker Women.
We wish Lily all the best with her recovery and the team and the club are right behind her all the way!
