New kit and clothing supply agreement starts next season
Darlington Football Club today announce a three-year kit and clothing supply agreement with international company Joma.
Operating in 200 countries worldwide, Joma is a family run business that was founded 55 years ago. They are technical partners with Swansea City, Exeter and Barrow in the UK, and globally with Atalanta, Torino, Villarreal, Hoffenheim and Anderlecht plus several international federations. They are also supplying kit to several clubs at grassroots level in our area and the UK.
Darlington chief executive officer David Johnston said; “We're delighted to appoint Joma as Darlington Football Club's official kit and clothing supplier from the start of the 2021-22 season. We selected Joma after a rigorous selection process which took into account their design, production values, lead times, quality, and price.
"We have been very impressed by their professionalism so far. We are sure that our fans will be excited by the eye-catching designs that we have come up with after working in conjunction with them for several weeks. We will also, with Joma’s assistance, be able to offer more DFC-branded products in Quaker Retail.
"We look forward to seeing which designs for home and away shirts our fans will choose in the forthcoming votes, and to working closely with Joma on future projects."
Alberto López, the CEO of Joma said; “The collaboration with Darlington Football Club is exciting for us due to its status within the local community.
“We have already developed a strong collaboration in a short period of time. I'm convinced we'll be even stronger together. Both partners want to set standards of excellent quality. Our commitment is constantly focused on design, quality and Darlington Football Club."
We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Joma.
