Darlington FC are pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Rodden as our new goalkeeping coach.

Steve started coaching in his early 20s after finishing his playing career early because of injury, and after studying at Newcastle College and gaining several coaching qualifications,  he set up his own goalkeeper coaching school (Elite) in 2012.

Since then, he has specialised in one-to-one coaching, and has worked with several youth teams in the north east, as well as the academies at Carlisle and Newcastle United, and Durham Women.

Steve has already started working with our goalkeepers, and was on the bench for last Saturday's game against Spennymoor Town.

We would like to welcome Steve to the club, and wish him every success.
