Good recovery after conceding four goals in first half

Quakers were caught cold by the Cumbrians, who scored three times in the first 28 minutes, but then the home side managed to pull a goal back when Mark Beck set up Ben Hedley to fire past the Carlisle keeper.
The Cumbrians, who will be in the league above us in the new season, restored their three goal lead soon after.
Quakers started to find some openings, and before half time, Aidan Rutledge was just off target.
They had much the better of the second half, and they scored a second on 73 minutes when Ellis Stanton was brought down, and Mark Beck scored from the spot.
Max Howells, Paddy McLaughlin and Ellis Stanton all had efforts in the remainder of the game as Quakers finished strongly.
