This Saturday we face third bottom Worcester City, as we look to make it back-to-back wins after victory over bottom of the table Altrincham on Wednesday (writes Simon Hahn).

Goals from Mark Beck, Josh Falkingham and a late penalty from Terry Galbraith sealed a 3-1 win.

The three points took us within one point of the final playoff place, which is currently occupied by Halifax Town.

Worcester City are currently amidst a financial crisis and have recently put all of their players up for transfer. They play their home games in Bromsgrove (there are travel details and information elsewhere on the official website)

Amongst those who have left in recent weeks were veteran Lee Hughes who joined league rivals Telford United, Micah Evans, who played for Altrincham against us on Wednesday night and Colby Bishop, who went to Boston.

Interim manager John Snape took over after the long serving Carl Heeley left last month, but the side has fallen into the relegation zone in recent weeks.

Their latest defeat last Saturday was at the hands of Altrincham who had previously only won once all season, and their last win was against Telford on November 12th.

Their last six matches: LLLDLD

Further details are on the Stalybridge website:

When we met at Heritage Park earlier on this season we were 5-1 winners thanks to two goals apiece from Gary Brown and Mark Beck, along with a strike from David Syers gave us victory.

Quakers’ last six matches: WLWDLD

There is a link between the two clubs; Worcester’s former player Richard Dryden was briefly in charge of Quakers in 2010.

Kick off on Saturday is 3:00pm, updates on the game will be made from the club's Facebook, Twitter, Mobile App and Website. Live Commentary will be broadcast from Darlo Fans Radio at 2:50pm

The Mobile App and Darlo Fans Radio are both sponsored by Tempest Jones
