Darlington head to Merseyside on Tuesday night for a replay against Marine in the FA Trophy Third Qualifying round.

On Sunday afternoon the Quakers were held to a 2-2 draw at Heritage Park by the Evo-Stik Premier League side.

Marine, who lie 19th in the Evo-Stik Premier, had led 2-0 at one stage, but thanks to goals from Terry Galbraith and Stephen Thompson the Quakers stayed in the competition. Despite the comeback, Darlington will have been disappointed to not have progressed at the first time of asking against a side that finished the match with ten men.
