The application is built on the foundations of the Club’s official website, www.darlingtonfc.co.uk , which since its refresh in March this year has received almost 400,000 hits!

The app puts a whole range of information and features about the Quakers into the hands of fans like never before. It will hopefully combine the content that fans want – anytime, anywhere. The News section keeps fans up-to-date with the latest from Darlington Football Club as it happens, enhanced with imagery and videos, taken directly from the official website. The app makes joining in the conversation easier than ever before, with seamless social interaction through Facebook and Twitter.

The official Club app still requires some development work but will evolve over the coming weeks, and I ask for your patience and understanding whilst our volunteer technical staff continue to update various aspects of the app.

The app was developed for the Club by Six Fields UK and Mel Delahaye, Managing Director said, “Six Fields UK were very pleased to be asked to create an app for Darlington FC. Although we usually custom make apps for commercial customers, i.e. hotels, restaurants, bars, hairdressers etc, it was clear from the start that Darlington Football Club and its fan base would benefit enormously from all of the features offered in a Six Fields app. The mobile app includes match reports, league tables, a fan page, newsletter and Push notifications to keep fans informed, in real time, of everything the app offers. There are lots of useful links to the club shop and website with YouTube footage of matches. All the info a fan would need whilst they are out and about”.
