Quakers sign defender Jonny Haase

Left back signs on the dotted line

Darlington have today signed defender Jonny Haase on a one year contract.

Jonny, who is 20, has been impressive in our pre season friendlies, and manager Steve Watson has decided to add him to our squad to provide competition for places.

Jonny was with York City as a youngster when Steve gave him his first contract, and last season he had a loan spell with Stockton Town in the NPL East.

He was released by York City in January, and so he joined Northallerton in the Northern League for the rest of the season.

Jonny spoke to the official website:

We would like to welcome Jonny to the club, and wish him every success during his time with us.
