Quakers sign keeper on emergency loan

Shea Connor arrives from Middlesbrough
Darlington have today signed keeper Shea Connor on emergency loan from Middlesbrough.
Regular keeper Peter Jameson suffered a shoulder injury against South Shields on Friday, which meant that he would be unable to play at Scarborough.
Quakers contacted the league for permission to sign an emergency keeper, which they granted, and then Quakers approached Middlesbrough for assistance.
Boro have very kindly agreed to loan 19 year old Shea, who has been playing for their Under 21s this season.
The paperwork was submitted late on Sunday night, and approval came through at 11.15 this morning..
Shea will now go straight into the team to play at Scarborough, kick off 1pm.
We would like to thank the National League, the FA, EFL and Middlesbrough for their understanding and assistance with the signing.
