πŸ”₯ Match Preview

The Quakers look to start a run of form after a win away at Leamington when they go back on the road to Radcliffe on Tuesday night.

Darlo come into this midweek fixture after picking up a late win thanks to a well-taken finish by Jack Maskell for his fifth goal of the season and our second clean sheet this season.

The Quakers are 4th best in the league in away form, with all three league wins in total this season happening when on the road, with ten goals scored and seven goals conceded.  10 of our 13 points in the league have come away from home.

Darlington’s opponents, Radcliffe, are fifth in the league thanks to a strong start to the campaign with 22 points gained after 12 games.

The Boro come into this Tuesday night game after a 0-0 draw at home to Bedford but before that have picked up big wins recently with a 5-1 win against Kidderminster and 5-0 win away at Merthyr Town proving they are a real threat in the league.

Radcliffe's home form is 4th best in the league with four wins in six games and 10 goals scored with five goals conceded to gain 13 of their 22 points.

The Quakers have never lost to Radcliffe in the three times the clubs have met, with the most recent away win being a big 4-1 win for the Quakers, with fantastic goals from Will Hatfield, Caden Kelly, Kallum Griffiths and Cedric Main to cap off a great team performance.

πŸ“° Team News

Alfie Myers-Smith has had a setback, but should be joining the squad soon

Will Hatfield is out for the season with a cruciate ligament injury.

Kallum Griffiths is likely to be out with a groin injury

πŸ‘€ Player Spotlight

Rio Clegg has been a livewire from The Boro this season with eight goals to his name. Signing from Trafford FC earlier in the year, the attacker has taken to the league very well, helping Radcliffe to a 5th-place position in the league so far. He led Radcliffe to a 5-0 away victory against Merthyr Town bagging himself a hattrick.

Danny Greenfield is the midfield general in this Radcliffe side, with powerful running and ball carrying, he will certainly cause problems. He scored in the victory over Kidderminster and has scored against Darlington previously for Spennymoor Town. He was sent off last Saturday against Bedford, but is free to play on Tuesday as his suspension doesn't start until this Saturday.
