Darlington manager Alun Armstrong has been in touch with defender Nicky Hunt, who is recovering at home from his head injury last night.
Nicky passes on this message: "I'm back home now. I'd like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all the kind words. They mean a lot. I'm sore, but hopefully on the mend."
The club has received hundreds of get well soon messages from fans of many clubs, which reflect Nicky's huge popularity.
We're sure that everyone would like to join us in wishing Nicky a speedy recovery.
