Darlington's latest pre-season game sees them travel to Northern League Second Division side South Shields, on what is a special day for the Mariners.
The occasion marks South Shields return to their home ground, renamed Mariners Park, after two seasons playing 20 miles away in Peterlee.
The Quakers attended the ground during their Northern League season, when Darlington came away with a 3-0 victory. While that season Darlington won the league, South Shields were relegated from the division.
The game is Darlington's third of pre-season, following defeats to Durham City and Sunderland. Despite the 4-2 defeat against the Premiership side on Thursday night, there were many encouraging signs for Gray's side. All four new signings, Kevin Burgess, Adam Nowakowski, Phil Turnbull and Rob Youhill made their debuts for the club and all put in good displays.
Kick off at Mariners Park is Saturday 3pm.
