Spectator banned from Darlington FC matches

Incident at the Walsall game
The club has issued a three year ban from Darlington FC games at Blackwell Meadows to a spectator who ignited a flare at the Walsall FA Cup tie in November.
The possession of pyrotechnics at football matches is not only contrary to the club’s National League ground regulations, it is also a criminal offence. The matter is in the hands of the police.
The club has made it very clear, by various means, that we will not tolerate the possession of pyrotechnics at our games, and we will not hesitate to issue similar bans in the future.
