Spennymoor Town v Darlington – advice to Darlington fans

Boxing Day sees an eagerly-awaited local derby between Spennymoor and ourselves at the Brewery Field.

The game is all ticket and there will be no cash turnstiles available, so if you are a Darlington fan and do not have a ticket, then please don’t travel to the game. No ticket means no admission.

Anyone who travels to the game without a ticket, and who subsequently causes trouble in the name of Darlington FC, will be banned by Darlington FC for a minimum of twelve months.

Darlington FC is proud of its community and family based support and cannot, and will not, tolerate inappropriate behaviour or crowd disturbance of any kind. The Board of Directors is ultimately responsible for the conduct of the club's supporters at all our football matches and therefore, if you observe any illegal behaviour or behaviour which tarnishes the club’s name, then please e mail, in confidence, dave.watson@darlingtonfc.org.

We are sure that everyone joins us in hoping for a trouble-free, but very exciting local derby.

We would also like to wish everyone a very merry, peaceful and safe Christmas.
