Sylvia Robinson

Dedicated fan passes away

The club is very sad to learn about the passing of dedicated fan Sylvia Robinson.

Sylvia had been a fan since 1966-67, when she attended her first match at Feethams when we were in the old Third Division, against League Cup winners QPR.

She was a regular at our home games, even when she and her husband, David, moved down to Huddersfield in 2001. After we were forcibly relegated in 2012, she still came to our matches at Heritage Park and Blackwell Meadows. She had many favourite players over the years, the most recent being Gary Brown and Stephen Thompson, and one of her most memorable matches was the FA Cup tie at Walsall in 2019.

We would like to pass on our sincere condolences to her husband, David, and her family and friends.
