The club is sad to learn about the passing of our former player Terry Melling.

Terry, who was 81, signed for us in March 1969, and made his debut for us at Lincoln, scoring our goal in the 2-1 defeat.

The team went on to narrowly miss out on promotion that season, Terry scoring our goal in the 3-1 home defeat in front of over 11,000 fans by Bradford City which determined our fate on the last day of the season.

Terry moved on to Scarborough in September 1969, having made 22 appearances for us, scoring 6 times.
