Everyone at Darlington Football Club would like to thank Dave Purdie for his valuable help and advice last Saturday during our floodlight crisis.

Dave, who is a qualified electrician and owns local company DP Electricals, was a guest in our popular hospitality area when he was asked to help resolve our worsening floodlight problems by our commercial director, Craig Morley.

As everyone who was at the game knows, there was a real threat that the game would be abandoned at half time by the referee unless we got the lights working to an acceptable level for the second half, and Dave was a great help in doing so by assessing the situation and helping to find a solution.
