Neil writes: “Angela and I have taken the opportunity to sponsor the match as a belated celebration of my 65th birthday with friends we have known since our teenage years and have remained as friends ever since.

“We had intended to book a table in hospitality at the time but couldn't because fans weren't allowed in stadiums. However instead, I had the pleasure of being 'Virtual Mascot' for the FA Trophy Quarter Final against match against Hornchurch on my actual birthday, 27th February, which was a total surprise to me (pity about the result), just as it was the first time Angela arranged for me to be mascot for my 40th birthday at Feethams on 27th February 1996 for the derby against Hartlepool.
