Conditions for our travelling fans
Here's some important advice for fans who intend travelling on the supporters' bus to Brackley next week, and to other away games this season:

DFCSG run coaches to all away games across the season. These luxury coaches are supplied by Atkinson’s Coaches and are equipped with toilets and drinks facilities. The coaches leave from Park Place, Darlington and arrive at their destination around 90 minutes before kick-off.
The away travel fares are banded - a maximum fare of £25 (£27 for non-members) will apply for the longest journeys, although trips within the North East and Yorkshire will be cheaper.
Owners (ie, DFCSG Members) will receive a 10% discount (rounded to the nearest £) on production of their YOURCLUB membership via their mobile phone on the coach. Under 16s (as at 1st September) will be able to travel for half the standard fare and they will receive a further discount if they are also Owners. Under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Should the match be postponed after the coach has left Darlington you will be entitled to a 50% refund.
Our friends over at DAFTS (Darlington Away Far Travelling Supporters) also publish some excellent Away Travel Guides which can be found on their website.
Booking Your Seat Before booking your seat, please familiarise yourself with our current "Conditions of Travel" below. Everyone travelling on the coach must be registered with YOURCLUB either as a basic (free) member or as an Owner (DFCSG Member).
To book a seat call Glen Bowes on 07376 368 553, quoting your Fan ID.

Conditions of Travel Due to Covid Although the Government has lifted all enforceable Covid restrictions, they have made it clear that we must proceed with caution. To this end, the DFCSG Board has agreed some reasonable and practicable measures designed to create a safe environment for fans to travel to travel to away matches in support of our football club.
We very much consider these measures to be temporary and they will be kept under review as the impact of the vaccination programme coupled with the removal of restrictions continues to unfold.
We are one Club and we are requesting everyone’s patience and understanding to comply with the following requirements in order for us all to look after each other during the journey:
- Everyone must be registered on YOURCLUB, including full contact details and must provide their Fan ID when booking a seat on the coach;
- Everyone above the age of 18 will be required to provide evidence that they have received two Covid vaccinations. Once you have produced the evidence for your first trip, you will not be required to produce it again for any subsequent trips;
- In the event that someone over 18 has not yet received a second vaccination, they must provide evidence of a negative Lateral Flow Test (LFT) carried out the day before the journey;
- Everyone below the age of 18 will be required to provide evidence of a negative LFT carried out the day before the journey;
- Those that have taken a LFT must sit towards the rear of the coach and to this end will be asked to board the coach first from Darlington;
- Those that have received two Covid vaccinations must sit towards the front of the coach and will board the coach after everyone that has received a LFT;
- Everyone must wear face masks throughout the journey, except when eating or drinking.
Evidence of Receiving Two Vaccinations. We will accept the card issued/updated when the vaccines were dispensed as evidence of having received two vaccinations. If you have lost your card, we will accept your NHS 'Vaccine Passport' from the NHS App displayed on your phone. Alternatively, we will accept the NHS Covid Pass Letter.
Obtaining a Lateral Flow Test (LFT) LFT kits are free and can be ordered in batches of seven to be sent by post to your home by going to this link: https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests If you don’t have access to the internet, you can order your LFT kits by dialling 119 between the hours of 7am and 11pm. Calls are free.
Once you have taken the test the day before the coach journey, you need to follow the instructions with the kit to report the test result. The record of the result will then be sent to your mobile for you to present as evidence on the coach.
If you do not have the evidence to support your Covid status (vaccine passport or negative LFT result), you must not board the coach.
