Under 18s play in aid of Cancer Research

Darlington Youth Under 18s are taking part in a game in aid of Cancer Research on Monday evening at Blackwell Meadows.
Quakers are taking on Levan Under 18s, whose manager Jonathan Simpson has been diagnosed with bile duct cancer and is due to start palliative chemotherapy later this month. Jonathan has been coaching Leven since 2018 and has spent hundreds of hours coaching the club’s youngsters.
Under 18s manager Stuart Birkin said; “Jonathan is very popular, and we want to support him by raising funds for Cancer Research.”
Admission to the game, which kicks off at 7.30pm, is £1.
