Under 23s win at Durham

Fourth league win of the season

Darlington Under 23s are in fifth place in the Wearside League First Division after a good 2-0 win at Durham City on Saturday.

After a goalless first half, Darlington came out stronger after the break and took control of the game. Dom Stacey opened the scoring on the hour mark with a well-taken finish before Owen Harvey doubled the lead just five minutes later, securing the win.

It was a confident and composed display across the pitch, with the defence standing firm and the midfield dictating play throughout. A special mention goes to Dom Stacey, who was named Man of the Match after an excellent 90 minutes — combining defensive work, attacking intent, and a crucial goal to cap off a standout performance.
Here's the league table:

The club would like to extend a huge thank you to our sponsors for their continued support — Relo Wind, Ann Cordey Estate Agents, and LCM Group — whose backing makes days like this possible.

Their next game is at home to Coxhoe Athletic at Eastbourne this Saturday.
