Hartlepool Youth u16s 5 Darlington FC Youth u16s 0 County Cup
The game started in torrential rain and sleet on a pitch that resembled a swamp.
It started with Darlington on top having the better chances.
Hartlepool scored a quickfire double as Darlington struggled to adapt to the worsening conditions, Harlepool added two more before half time came.
Darlington rallied somewhat and the second half have numerous chances to get into the game and dominated possession but couldn’t convert it to goals, the afternoon was summed up with a error that gave Hartlepool their 5th.
