Darlington look to carry a solid performance against Chorley into the weekend when they travel to Cantilever Park to take on Warrington Town.

The Quakers come into the game after a solid point against 5th-place Chorley on Tuesday night to put them 11th in the table, seven points behind the play offs.

This game will end a tough March for Darlo, with the meeting with Warrington Town being the ninth game of the month.

The Quakers away from home have been fairly middle of the road with six wins and six draws in their 20 away games.

The Yellows' home record has been subpar, with five wins and four draws in their 20 home games, which has earned them 19 points out of a potential 60.

Warrington, who are second bottom, come into the game after a disappointing 1-0 loss to Stalybridge Celtic in the Cheshire Senior Cup Semi-Final in midweek.

The previous meeting this season between the sides was a 2-2 draw at Blackwell Meadows, in which a late equaliser by Josh Amis capped a fightback by Warrington from 2-0 down at half time.

πŸ‘€ Player Spotlight

Warrington have struggled for goals this season, but their top scorer this season is Josh Amis who has seven goals this season. Quakers’ fans will remember him from the fixture earlier in the season, where he came on as a second-half substitute and scored two, rescuing a point for the Yellows.

Younger winger Mikey O’Neill has been a creative spark for the Yellows, scoring three goals and setting up five as they bid to avoid relegation.
