Just over a month since breaking the 300,000 hits barrier, the official Darlington website has now passed the 400,000 mark.

It's an amazing achievement for the website, and proves that it is now the primary source of information about the club for our fans, no matter where they are in the world.

The website has a minimum of 1500 hits per day, and triples that figure in the 24 hours after matches. Kev Luff's video highlights are very popular, but other articles on the website are also attracting plenty of attention. We have recently added Darlington Youth FC to the news items on the website.

The club has fans in 118 countries around the world -- there have been visitors to the site from Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and Argentina -- and there have been over 900,000 page views.

Director Dave Mills said; "When we rebranded the official website in March this year, we had obviously hoped to increase the number of visitors to it, but the number of hits in the last six months is phenomenal. It shows that there is incredible interest in Darlington Football Club and we are continuing to develop the official website so that it becomes a ‘one shop stop’ for supporters or anyone wanting to find out more about our club. Having a responsive and easy to navigate website, combined with the introduction of the DFC mobile app and very popular Twitter and Facebook accounts, we feel we are able to provide our supporters with instant access to club announcements, articles, events and match day information. The website team is doing a great job to bring the news to the fans."
