1996 left back returns
Former Darlington left back Mark Barnard returned to the club as our speaker in hospitality on Saturday.
Mark was a member of the team that reached the play off final in 1996, and he also played against Leeds in the League Cup when we drew 2-2 at Elland Road.
Here's the famous moment when Mark scored the winner against Burnley in the FA Cup at the Riverside -- almost similar to the one that another left back, George Smith, scored against Chester last Saturday
