Welcome Back Sophie Curle 

The announcement you have all been waiting for. The club are excited to announce that Sophie Curle will return and has committed for next season. Sophie scored 35 league goals in 14 games last season, before attracting the likes of Middlesbrough Women F.C and moving on. Sophie has made the decision to return to Darlington and finish off what she started with the club. Welcome home Sophie ⚫️⚪️

Manager Shaun Mackenzie said ‘I am over the moon we have been able to secure the signing of Sophie for next season. We respected her move and supported Sophie throughout her time at Middlesbrough, but I feel there was always unfinished business and I can’t wait to see her back playing in that number 15 shirt for the Quaker Women. We know exactly what Sophie will give us and we are looking forward to her adding to her tally for current all time club top goalscorer. The girls are glad to see Sophie back and I think it will give us a real lift before the start of the new season’
