Darlington fan passes away following cancer
The club is very sad to learn about the death of Wendy Smith at the age of 40.
Wendy had been a Darlington fan for most of her life, going to matches with her dad and brother, and then later with her husband.
She was a regular at the Arena and then went to games at Heritage Park and Blackwell Meadows. She has also enjoyed some great away days around the country when we were in the Football League.
She died of cancer just a month after being diagnosed , and her husband James has requested us to urge everyone to get symptoms checked.
The club's sincere condolences go to her husband James and daugher Imogen
