Darlington Football Club is a fan-owned club and is helped by volunteers of all ages, male and female, who possess a whole range of skills. Without them, the club just wouldn’t function on a matchday, because there are lots of jobs that need doing - -and the kind people below come to every game in order to help us!
Here’s what some of our many volunteers say about working at Darlington FC.
Sean Hadland – matchday reception
“I’ve supported the club all my life, and I wanted to get involved in some way. I find it quite interesting and I’ve made a lot of friends.”
Dean Jones – matchday steward
“I love the club and I like the people I work with.”
Anth McMaster – matchday host
“I’ve worked for the club for many years, and I’ll help it in any way I can.”
Alan Wilson – matchday steward
“I really enjoy helping the club by doing different jobs on matchdays, like helping set up the press facilities”
Joanne Cameron – matchday hospitality
“I started to follow Darlington six years ago because my son went to matches – it was a case of “if you can’t beat them, join them.” I really enjoy helping our sponsors and fans enjoy our hospitality.”
