Women's team in the Darlo Derby this weekend

Away to Darlington Spraire

Back to league action for the Quaker Women after progressing in the FA Cup last weekend. They travel up the road to take on local rivals Darlington Spraire Ladies F.C in the Durham FA League One.

It’s been a while since the two sides have met competitively with the last league game finishing 3-0 to Darlington F.C with goals from Ryan and Raine in the April of 2023.

Since Darlington formed, they have played Spraire a total of 5 times competitively with both teams winning 2 games and then sharing the points in a 1-1 draw in May 2022.

After being promoted from League Two as champions, Spraire have lost both of their opening league games, against Hebburn Town and Stockton Town so will definitely be up for the Darlo Derby, hoping to get their first points of the season.

The game will be played on the 3G pitch at Hummersknott Academy, it would be great to have your support this weekend as the Quaker Women look to bounce back in the league after the disappointing loss against Birtley.

Kick off is at the normal time of 2pm.
