Here's a round up of how our youth teams fared last weekend in the Russell Foster Youth League, Junior Premier League and Teesside Junior Football Alliance League.

RFYL Girls U10 Division 2:

Team Coach Natalie Peart said; "The girls started slow conceding early on in the game but put in an excellent performance in the second half".
RFYL Girls U11 Premier Division:
Darlington FC Vs. Boldon CA FC

Team Coach Mike Walton said; "Really good end to end game today with both teams giving it their all. A really tight first half saw the teams go in level at half time but Darlington stepped it up second half to continue their unbeaten run in the league this season".
RFYL Girls U13 Premier Division:
Norton & Stockton FC 3-4 Darlington FC Quakers

Team Coach Shaun MacKenzie said; "Today, the Quaker girls travelled to Norton for a later 12.30pm kick off. They knew they were going to be up against it today, with Norton sitting top of the league before kick off. The girls were magnificent from start to finish and it was a great competitive game of football, played in the right way. Darlington took the lead in the first minute, before a Norton equaliser brought it back to 1-1. Darlo went ahead again but it was Norton who led 3-2 at half time. The second half was fantastic to watch, good football from both teams and Darlington equalised before scoring the winner in the last minute to win the game 4-3!".

Team Coach Scott Buckton said; "Much better from the girls this week, solid defensively and passed the ball well going forward".

RFYL Boys U9 Premier Division:
Darlington FC Vs. Shotton Colts

Team Coach Sam Pascoe said; "The boys continued their 100% record in the league with their 13th win, well done boys!".

Team Coach Mick Walton said; "The girls knew that today would be a hard game against the only unbeaten team in the league and so it proved in a ten goal thriller. The girls put in a great performance and on another day could of got something from today".

Team Coach Michael Eggleston said; "After going 0-2 down early on I thought ‘Here we go again’ But the lads were fantastic after that, scored some lovely goals and put in a real battling performance... hopefully this is the confidence boost we needed to get our season going".
