Darlington Football Club is pleased to announce it has entered into a partnership with PR and marketing firm Harvey & Hugo as it steps up efforts to bring matches back to its home town.

Darlington’s winning run was ended last weekend, as we were knocked out of the FA Trophy after a 3-1 defeat away to St Neots. Amar Purewal scored the Quakers goal after Liam Hatch had been sent off early on.
DFC would like to inform everyone that Quaker Retail at Blackwell Meadows will be closed from 1pm on Friday 21st November until 10am Tuesday 2nd December inclusive. This is a planned temporary closure due to an annual event held at Blackwell Meadows which we have known about for some time.
The Board of Directors of Darlington 1883 Limited (the Company) is pleased to announce that the Company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) is to be held at Blackwell Grange Hotel on Thursday 11 December at 6:30pm.

Darlington made it eleven straight wins in league and cup, as we strengthened our position at the top of the league table. On Saturday we came away from Mossley with a 3-0 victory thanks to goals from Terry Galbraith, an own goal and a wonder strike from Stephen Thompson. We also played Whitby Town on Wednesday night in the Doodson Cup, where a youthful looking Quakers side lost out on penalties after a 3-3 draw.
Darlington were presented with the October Team of the Month award last night – but they won’t be presented with the Dodson Sport League Cup after losing 3-1 on penalties to Whitby Town after being 3-0 up at one stage.
Just a reminder to everyone that the Doodson Sports Cup First Round match against Whitby Town takes place at Heritage Park this Wednesday 12th November, KO 7.45pm

Darlington continued their recent form this week, winning in both league and cup. At the weekend we won away at Scarborough Athletic in the FA Trophy 4-0. We then picked up a vital league victory over local rivals Spennymoor Town at Heritage Park on Wednesday night. Graeme Armstrong scoring the only goal of the game inside the first minute.
Darlington scored inside the first minute and went on to make it a perfect ten by doing the double over promotion rivals Spennymoor Town in a thrilling encounter.
Darlington's 4-0 victory over Scarborough at the weekend has earned them a draw against St Neots Town in the the Second Round Qualifying of The FA Trophy.
Simon Hahn's week round up!
Darlington remain top of the league table after victory over Burscough at a windy Heritage Park on Saturday. In tough conditions, goals from Amar Purewal, Graeme Armstrong and Steven Thompson saw us win 3-0 to remain ahead of Salford City on goal difference.
In-form Darlington extended their lead at the top of the table with a comfortable victory at home to Burscough, which stretched the team’s winning run to eight.

This week Darlington took a break from league action, as they competed in two cup competitions. On Saturday we progressed in the FA Trophy with victory away to Radcliffe Borough, 2-0. In the next round we travel to Scarborough Athletic. On Tuesday night we were away to Spennymoor in the Durham County Cup, when the under 18’s were used by Martin Gray. Unfortunately they were defeated 4-0 by a strong Spennymoor team, however it is still good experience for the youngsters.

Darlington won both their games this week to make it four wins in a row. A 1-0 victory at home to bottom club Padiham, was followed by victory at Brighouse Town, 3-1, with Amar Purewal scoring another three goals this week. We are now second in the table, a point behind leaders Salford, however we have played more games than those around us.
Amar Purewal’s early penalty was enough to secure second-placed Darlington’s third successive win at Heritage Park against Padiham, who ended the game with nine men.
