We'd like to congratulate Paul and Jen Hodgson, who recently renewed their wedding vows at Blackwell Meadows.

To commemorate the occasion, commercial director Craig Morley presented them with a framed and signed shirt.

Paul, who has been a Darlington fan for many years, said; "On 16 March, Jen and I renewed our vows at Blackwell Meadows.

"We had thirty guests in attendance, and despite the game (V Chester) being called off, everyone had a good time.

"The reason why we decided to do this was that when we got married two years ago, Jen and I were really ill with flu.  Therefore although we did our best to enjoy our day, we felt like something was missing, hence our decision.

"The whole day was fantastic, and Jen and I would like to thank Craig Morley for his magnificent gift, and also Joanne Cameron for her hard work during the event.

"Everyone commented on how good the food was, and a couple of people who don’t attend Darlo matches, said they’ll give it a go before the end of the season.  This is certainly good news for the club."
