Darlington FC to work with local BAME community

Club hopes to help reduce hate crime

Darlington FC officials met this week with Sajna Ali, who is the BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) Officer for the Darlington Labour Party.

Both organisations have signed up to Hate Hurts, a campaign which was launched recently by Ron Hogg, the County Durham and Darlington Police Commissioner, and aim to help each other as much as possible.

Darlington FC will do all it can to combat any form of hate crime, and we're sure that all of our fans agree with that stance, and report hate crime.

Moving forward, we have identified a couple of projects with funding, one of which will hopefully allow vulnerable children to gain access to our Soccer Camps at Easter.
