Darlington commercial director Craig Morley and manager Tommy Wright met Darlington fan Luke Robson, 11, in their visit to Darlington Memorial Hospital earlier this week.

Luke has been recovering from an appendix operation, and was amazed when Darlington striker Stephen Thompson, who was part of the club party that visited, revealed that he had also undergone an appendix operation a few years ago and had the scars to prove it!

Luke and his dad Craig will be Matchday Experience guests of the club at Friday’s home game with Bradford Park Avenue – and Luke has promised to wear his Darlo shirt!
