Darlington defender Terry Galbraith will start tonight’s friendly at Northallerton as Quakers’ pre-season build up continues.

Tez missed last Saturday’s friendly with Halifax because of illness, and manager Alun Armstrong is anxious to give him as many minutes as possible in the game against the EBAC Northern League side, who won promotion from the ENL Second Division last season.

AA will also take the opportunity to have another look at right winger Justin Donawa, who impressed in the first hour against Halifax.

There will be several more players who played on Saturday involved again tonight, as they build up their fitness and understanding for the new season which starts on 3^rd August.

However, midfielder David Atkinson won’t be involved, as he suffered a swollen foot against Halifax last Saturday. Fortunately X rays ruled out any fracture.

Tonight’s game at the Calvert Stadium kicks off at 7.30. Admission is £6 adults, £4 concessions and £1 children.

Don’t forget that Saturday’s home game with Middlesbrough Under 23s kicks off at 1pm.
