The latest action from our division

On Tuesday night four games took place in the National North with Stockport County climbing back to the top of the top of the table with four games left. They produced one of the displays and results of the season as they won 6-0 at playoff hopefuls Chester. Nyal Bell and Sam Walker both scored twice for Stockport along with further goals from Darren Stephenson and Jordan Keane. It took them a point ahead of Chorley. Chester are now four points off the top seven.

Seventh place Telford and fifth place Altrincham held each other to a 1-1 draw. Jordan Hulme gave Altrincham the lead but playing the final 20 minutes with ten men they were unable to hang on as Andre Brown scored in stoppage time to earn Telford a share of the spoils from the spot.

Blyth are now the team just outside the playoff spots after a 4-1 victory over already relegated Nuneaton. Sean Reid, Keiran Green, Adam Wrightson and Alex Nicholson scoring for Spartans who are now just three behind Telford. Taylor Allen scored Nuneaton's consolation.

In the final game mid-table sides Alfreton and Hereford played out a 1-1 draw. Thomas Owen-Evans put Hereford ahead, but just ten minutes later Richard Peniket earned a point for Alfreton.
