Notice to all Darlington FC and visiting supporters – car parking at Blackwell Grange Hotel.

We have today received an e mail from Blackwell Grange Hotel stating that although polite notices have been posted warning of unauthorised car parking, it has been brought to our attention that cars are being parked in the hotel grounds by those attending Darlington FC games at Blackwell Meadows.

To ensure that our good working relationship continues with our neighbours, this must cease with immediate effect as the hotel is finding it increasingly difficult to accommodate their paying guests on matchdays. The hotel has now informed us that it will clamp all unauthorised vehicles left in its grounds on matchdays.

Darlington FC commercial director Craig Morley said; “We have adequate car parking facilities for our fans at Blackwell Meadows, and we’re sure that paying the £5 fee at Blackwell Meadows is far cheaper than having to pay an expensive clamping charge."

Remember also that 80 per cent of the £5 car parking fee goes to Darlington FC, so you are helping the club by parking at Blackwell Meadows.

There are several car parks in the town, a 15 minute walk away from Blackwell Meadows.
