Darlington look to make it four wins in a row when they travel to struggling Stamford on Tuesday night. Victory would see the Quakers close the gap on league leaders Blyth Spartans to four points, as they are not in mid-week action.

A double from Nathan Cartman along with goals from Kevin Burgess, Liam Hardy and Stephen Thompson helped Darlington to an impressive 5-0 victory away to Matlock Town on Saturday, their 11th away league win of the season.

Nathan Cartman and Lee Gaskell are joint top scorers for Quakers in the league, with 14 apiece.

Stamford sit just outside the relegation zone in 20th place, one point ahead of Whitby Town. At home they have only won four times in the league so far this season. On Saturday they lost 3-1 away to Buxton. However, before this they had won four of their previous five league games.  Their top scorer this season is Greg Smith who has scored ten goals, while recent signing Jake Newman has scored six.

Since being promoted into the division in the 2012/13 season Stamford have finished each season in the bottom half of the table, last year finishing in 20th place.

The two teams are yet to meet this season, with the reverse fixture taking place at Heritage Park on the 16th of April, the second last Saturday of the campaign.
