Quakers enter new Academy League

New venture starts in September

Quakers’ Academy will this season be playing in the newly-formed National League Academy North.

Club representatives attended a meeting last week to discuss the formation of the new league (there will also be a Southern Division) that is aimed at providing a higher standard of football as well as other benefits.

The league will run from the start of September to the end of April, with games played in midweek. Amongst the other clubs in the league are York, Blyth, Hartlepool and Guiseley.

More details will follow.
