Quakers looking to maintain improvement against Kettering
By Ray Simpson
Hoping to build on Gateshead performance
We are looking to continue the improvement we showed against Gateshead on Wednesday when Kettering come to Blackwell Meadows on Saturday.
After losing 3-1 at Farsley last Saturday, we improved considerably to draw 1-1 with Gateshead on Wednesday night – although the point came with a price, as defender Luke Trotman went off with an achilles injury and is now ruled out for the season.
That could open the door for Josh Heaton to start the game following his return to the club.
