Quakers sign Jordan Windass from Oldham

Defender joins on loan

Darlington have today signed right back Jordan Windass on a season long loan from Oldham Athletic, subject to League and FA approval.

Jordan, who is 24, played for North Ferriby and Goole before moving to Bradford Park Avenue, where he was impressive enough for Oldham Athletic to sign him in the summer of 2022.

However, his first team opportunities have been limited, and Oldham have agreed to let him join us on loan.

Jordan is part of a footballing family. His dad, Dean, starred for Hull and Bradford City in his career, and also played for us in season 2009-10 while he was assistant manager to Colin Todd. His brother, Josh, scored the winner in last season’s League One play off final for Sheffield Wednesday.

Here's an interview with Jordan

And here's a pic of him in action for Oldham

We would like to welcome Jordan to the club, and wish him every success in his stay with us. We would also like to thank Oldham for their help and co-operation
