Quakers sign Josh Heaton for the second time

Josh: I'm delighted to be back

Quakers have today finally signed defender Josh Heaton for the second time.

Josh, who is 22, has signed following his release from St Mirren last month. He left us for St Mirren following the end of the 2017-18 season (he made 21 appearances for us, scoring once), and spent four months on loan at Kidderminster last season before returning to Scotland.

Manager Alun Armstrong said; “Josh is different to what we’ve got already, and he’s very aggressive in the air.

“He’s still learning his game, and as long as he’s willing to keep learning, we can make him a better player alongside the other players we’ve got at the club.

“He gives us the option of playing three centre halves at the back.”

We would like to welcome Josh back to the club, and wish him a successful stay.

Josh spoke to the official website -- you can listen to his interview here: (The interview was recorded before our opening league game of the season)
