New innovation at Blackwell Meadows
We'd like to thank CKJ Interiors, who are owned by Darlington fan Wesley Atkins, for being our podium ball sponsors for the season -- a new pre-match innovation at Darlington FC.
At every home game, the match referee will pick up the matchball from podium and walk on to the field with it.
On top of the podium, holding the ball, is a copper bowl which was presented to Darlington FC commercial director Craig Morley when he completed the Mongolian Rally and was given the freedom of the city where the rally finished.
